Based on the acquired knowledge and methodological tools related to the analysis of contemporary literary and media culture in the historical and socio-cultural context, graduates of the programme History of Literary Culture will be able to understand the basic processes of formation of and changes in modern and postmodern literary culture. The acquired knowledge, skills and habits forming the basis of their specialisation should make them not only well versed in this complex field, but also give them a chance to actively participate – whether in research, editorial or authorial terms – in the creation of contemporary literary culture, as well as in appropriately focused programmes of various cultural and educational institutions.
