What will you learn?
Students will gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are needed to solve issues related to construction of mechanical parts of vehicles. Through compulsory-optional blocks of courses, students choose to focus on either rail or road vehicles. Graduates will be prepared for independent professional activities according to the current state of knowledge in the industry, which is constantly developing and improving means of transport for people and cargo.
Linking theory to practice
Important aspects of the study include field trips and experts from practice teaching lessons of professional courses. Master's theses are usually assigned in cooperation with companies and organisations operating in the transport industry. Students can also participate in research activities related to the content of the study programme.
Career
Graduates can hold higher technical positions in companies engaged in the development, design, manufacture and reconstruction of road or rail vehicles. They can also be employed in testing, research or in vocational or higher education, and are ready for doctoral studies with a similar focus.

Part-time study involves a lot of independent work. Your schedule comprises consultations with your teacher carried out mainly on Friday and Saturday once in two weeks. This form of study is suitable for those who already have a job. Part-time study is not limited by age.
