What will you learn?

The study further develops and deepens a comprehensive knowledge of the laws of technology and traffic management. Theoretical knowledge is used in the field of operational management, in the optimisation of transport and transport processes on transport networks, the processing and evaluation of projects, including technological and economic analysis of transport systems and information technology. Already in the first year of study, you will specialise by choosing compulsory-optional courses in the field of railways and rail transport or in the field of road transport and logistics. At the same time, you will be ready for further study at the doctoral level.

Linking theory to practice

We link theory to practice through professional field trips, internships, course assignments focused on solving transport-technological problems in practice, diploma theses assigned in cooperation with companies from the above areas, experts from practice participating in lessons of professional courses, and participation in the implementation of research projects solving specific transport technology problems.

Career

You will find employment opportunities:

• in companies focused on transport, forwarding, logistics, transport engineering, etc.,
• within the management and planning divisions of the state administration transport system (at municipal transport offices, regional transport offices and at the Ministry of Transport),
• in scientific research organisations and in transport education (CDV, SUDOP, etc.).
