What will you learn?
You will learn all you ever wanted to know about taxes. You will learn to calculate taxes, check your tax return and understand financial statements. You will be able to distinguish between expenses that are tax-relevant and those that are not, and you will be proficient in tax allowances. You will also have an understanding of public and regional finances and budgets as well as financial analysis. The study also includes a traineeship with tax authorities that will help you with practical experience in the field.
Careers
As a graduate, you will have no difficulties finding a job with a tax authority or other local or regional authorities, where you will be responsible for administrative proceedings. You may also approach the taxes from the taxpayer’s perspective and work in a tax advisor’s office or in corporate finance departments. Naturally, you may also complete the MA programme and thus be able to do more specialised work and get a prestigious job at the General Financial Directorate or in corporate top management.
